  3. If the "semicolon" should come at the end of the line of copy as 
  4. it did in the past dictation, do not space before striking the
  5. "Enter" key.

  7. Next you will learn the "E" key.  Look down at the keyboard. 
  8. Notice that the "E" is above the "D" and slightly to the left.  
  9. The "E" is keyed with the "D" finger.  Without removing the other
  10. fingers from their positions on the home row keys reach from "D" 
  11. up to "E" and back to "D" again.  Practice this reach until you 
  12. feel comfortable.

  14. Remember to sit correctly and to keep your fingers curved and 
  15. upright.

  17. As the letter is dictated, you think the key.  Using good 
  18. keyboarding techniques now will create greater speed and accuracy
